What would you guys recommend? I've never done Metro, and I prefer to drive. But will I get screwed on parking or possibly not even have any?

parking isn't too bad if you park a few blocks up. You could even find free metered parking on Sundays

Take the metro. Seriously. Park somewhere outside and metro in.

There isn't a ton of parking around the Convention Center, and what there is will cost you 20 or 30 bucks. If you get lucky, and find street parking, you'll at least get ticketed, and possibly towed, unless you can understand the uniquely unintelligible DC parking signage.

Did you go to the show today, or are you planning on it?

Since my dad and I live in MD, we park at the Greenbelt station (parking is free on the weekends, IIRC) and take the Metro directly to the convention center.

Me and the Mrs are getting ready to go right now. We're going to be taking the Vienna Metro. My buddies told me to jump from the orange to the green at L'enfant.
